Trauma Triage

Description

This module will review the Guideline for Field Triage of Injured Patients and guide the participant in the proper routing and transport of these patients.  This module will also review the Alabama Trauma System Guidelines.

• Discuss the 2 categories of Trauma Triage
• Understand how to decide where a patient should be transported to.
• Examine local trauma triage and transport protocols (Alabama will be reviewed)
