This course will provide techniques, methods of instruction change, and anecdotal stories illustrating how we can work with boys with special needs. At the end, you will be asked to write a plan to help a boy with a disability. The results of that plan will depend upon your ability to recall information from this course and follow the guidelines of making accommodations for boys with disabilities.

You will learn how Royal Rangers can meet the needs of every boy, establish a mindset for working with boys with special needs, learn how to assess disabilities and to make accommodations, learn to write a plan for working with a boy with a disability.

During this course, you may view various videos. The videos will be from a regular HTTP websites presented along with the secure information from this training site. You must answer "No" if asked to view only the secure information to be able to view the training videos.

At the end of the lessons, you will take a quiz. Successful completion of the quiz earns you a certificate of completion. This certificate will appear once you have completed the short feedback survey following the quiz. You should download or print the certificate (PDF format) for your records.
